Colour Tone: Warm oxide brown / brick brown
Description: A mineral-heavy reddish brown resembling traditional studio pottery clay bodies and iron oxide slips. Rustic and highly tactile.
Recommended Stain Percentage:
- Soft brick tint: 1–2%
- Classic oxide brown: 3–4%
- Heavy rustic saturation: 5–7%
Intensity Behaviour: Excellent opacity and strong warmth. Develops richer red undertones in oxidation firing.
Best Firing Range: 1000–1300°C
