Colour Tone: Deep cobalt midnight blue

Description: A powerful saturated blue inspired by ocean trenches and night skies beyond moonlight. Dense, dramatic, and highly mineral in character. The glossy pooled sections resemble molten cobalt glass.

Recommended Stain Percentage in Stoneware Clay:

• Smoky dark tint: 2–3%
• Rich cobalt body stain: 5–7%
• Intense saturated blue: 8–10%

Intensity Behaviour: Very high tint strength. Even small additions dominate pale clay bodies.

Best Firing Range: 1000–1300°C

Works Best when 

• Mixed with slip
• Used as a wash
• Mixed in glaze
