Colour Tone: Saturated warm red with coral undertones

Recommended Stain Percentage in Stoneware Clay:
- Soft blush red: 1–2%
- Balanced coral-crimson body: 3–5%
- Strong saturated red: 6–8%
- Ultra intense statement red: 8–10% (test recommended)
Intensity Behaviour:
This stain family has:
- High chroma
- Strong visual dominance
- Excellent glaze response in oxidation firing
At lower percentages, the colour becomes:
- dusty coral
- warm terracotta pink
At higher percentages:
- deep crimson
- lava red
- intense studio red-orange
Best Firing Range: 1000–1300°C
Works Best when
- Mixed with slip
- Used as a wash
- Mixed in glaze
