Colour Tone: Bright primary yellow
Description: A vivid radiant yellow inspired by direct sunlight and fresh pigment powder. Highly energetic and clean, with strong opacity and luminosity under transparent glaze.
Recommended Stain Percentage in Stoneware Clay:
- Soft warm tint: 2–3%
- Bright saturated yellow: 5–7%
- Maximum intensity: 8–10%
Intensity Behaviour:High brightness but medium tint strength. Needs slightly higher percentages than cobalt blues to maintain saturation at stoneware temperatures.
Best Firing Range: 1000–1300°C
